The Catholic Church has so much to offer its members, yet often these treasures are hidden and one has to search to find them. The Office of the New Evangelization and Stewardship of the Diocese of Birmingham, AL in an effort to offer fellowship and knowledge to young Catholics is establishing a new apostolate aimed primarily at young people called κοινωνία: Young Catholic Adult Fellowship.
The aim of this fellowship is to help young Catholics to pray and study together, growing in bonds of fellowship and support, while at the same time being exposed to the wealth of opportunities there are to serve God and humanity within the Church.
This new apostolate was founded on the Feast of Saint Thomas Aquinas, in 2009.
